Young Women’s Worker (St. Mary’s Hospital) c. £24,000 – £28,000
Thanks to funding from London’s Violence Reduction Unit, we are looking for an outstanding, experienced professional to join our team at St Mary’s as a Young Women’s Worker. Please note we are recruiting a female worker for this role, which is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1. Our Young Women’s Workers support young women affected by violence and gang activity by working intensively with them to help them secure a positive future. To do this well you need to be a people person; passionate about supporting young people, and excited at the prospect of working in a fast-paced and exceptionally busy environment. This clip from BBC News will give you a taster of what we do every day, and you can see more about the Young Women’s Service in this clip from Sport Relief in 2018.
For full details on the role please download an application pack. To apply, please complete our application form and equality and diversity monitoring form and return both to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will accept applications until 10am on Monday 9 December 2019. Interviews will be held at our Victoria office on Wednesday 18 December 2019. We would love to receive a diverse range of applications, and we particularly welcome applications from BAME communities.
