Team Leader (Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham) c. £27,700 – £31,700
We launched our Birmingham service in July 2018 and we are looking for an outstanding individual with strong leadership skills who can take it forward at Heartlands Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a distinctive approach in Heartlands where we see fewer cases of serious youth violence and meet more young people before they experience serious harm or critical injury. Watch this video about Redthread from our win at the recent Charity Awards which gives a taster of what we do. We need someone with excellent experience of leading a small, highly-skilled team, with proven experience of working with high-risk vulnerable young people and the ability to form strong working relationships with a wide range of partners in the hospital and the community.
The purpose of the role is to further establish and lead the Youth Violence Intervention Programme team at Heartlands Hospital, and ensure that Redthread’s model of intervention is delivered consistently and appropriately to all young people accessing the service.
For full details on the role please download an application pack. To apply, please complete our application form and equality and diversity monitoring form and return both to email@example.com. We will accept applications until 10am on Monday 30 September 2019. Interviews will be held at Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham on Wednesday 9 October, with a second round of interviews for successful candidates on a date to be confirmed.
Closing date: 10am, Monday 30 September 2019
Interviews: Wednesday 9 October 2019
