Redthread Youth Ltd is a registered charity in England and Wales (charity registration number: 1051260). Our mission is to empower young people to thrive as they navigate the challenging transition from adolescence to adulthood, by integrating trauma-informed youth work into the health sector.

We collect some personal data from our supporters so that we can keep them informed about our work and give them the opportunity to be involved if they wish. We take your privacy seriously and will only ever use your personal information for purposes for which you have freely given your unambiguous, informed consent.

If you have consented to receiving marketing and fundraising communications we will store your full name, and your email address, postal address and telephone number (if you choose to share them) in our secure database.

You have the right to contact us at any time to request access to the personal data we hold on you or to update your communications preferences. You also have the right to request rectifications to your personal data, or for your data to be erased completely. (If you have made donations to Redthread we will keep your first initial and address on our database for ten years following your last donation on the grounds of Legitimate Interest, in order to comply with charity auditing laws. However your details will be archived and will not be used for any other reason).

The only time we will ever share your data (first initial, surname and postal address) with an external agency is to claim Gift Aid from HMRC, if you are able to Gift Aid your donations and have completed a Gift Aid declaration giving us permission to do so.

If you have any questions or concerns about how Redthread is processing your personal data please get in touch with us at any time. Our head office team are available on 0203 744 6888 or info@redthread.org.uk and will be happy to help.
