Cushopoly for Redthread!
July 3rd, 2019
Redthread are the charity partner of Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation and Advisory team. On Friday 7th June colleagues and clients took part in Cushopoly – Monopoly with a twist – to raise funds for Redthread. It was a day of friendly competition, challenge and fun.
The day started at their Portman Square office with a breakfast and warm-up with a very special guest – Mr Motivator! His infectious energy was enjoyed by all and he was really passionate about Redthread and our cause.
Once players had either played the game or run the board, a finish line party at Old Spitalfields Market was arranged where the winners were announced and participants enjoyed lunch and speeches.
The event has raised over £15,000 for Redthread! This will enable the charity to reach out to even more vulnerable young people and help them pursue positive changes in their lives.
David Lusher, a Partner at Cushman & Wakefield said of the day:
“We are delighted to have fundraised for Redthread, as well as raising awareness of their work among a whole new audience. We are a real estate advisory firm, so “Cushopoly” was perhaps an obvious route to take – but a warm-up in our office reception with the legend that is Mr Motivator certainly wasn’t! Now I have a team asking what we are going to do next to help Redthread and I am not sure how we are going to beat that!”
Lots of hard work went into making this event a success. We would like to thank all those who took part and special shout outs to David Lusher and all the colleagues on the event committee and Alex Taylor and Emma Kirby from New Era Events.
We look forward to working with Cushman and Wakefield further and are very grateful for their support!
